Senior Research Associate
Rijhul Ladha is a Senior Research Associate with the India ZEV Research Centre. His work focuses on advancing electric mobility, including developing electrification pathways and fuel economy regulations for medium and heavy-duty trucks. He has worked at sub-national level in India to design regulatory policy framework for zero-emission truck market creation. He has been involved in building knowledge support for supply-side regulations in India and Southeast Asia along with building strategic partnerships with the government, industry and research stakeholders.
Previously, he has worked with WRI India on the skills transition in the Indian automobile industry focusing on the 2W and 3W vehicle segment. He has worked with The Urban Lab, Ahmedabad, India on assessing urban poor mobility and parking policy in Indian cities. He also worked as an engineer in HPCL Mittal Energy Ltd., Bathinda, India supervising the testing and commissioning of electrical systems in the petrochemical unit.
He holds an M.Sc. in urban policy and governance from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and B.Tech in electrical engineering
