Countries across the Global South are navigating mobility transitions that reflect the complexities of geography, rapid urbanization, and inequality, but also a deep capacity for creativity, resilience, and innovation. Yet, these efforts are often overlooked. The current e-mobility narratives reflect a skewed global perspective, focused on larger markets, of what a sustainable and just transition to clean mobility requires.
Majority Mobility is the GSC’s quarterly journal that brings focus to mobility initiatives being proposed and adopted by developing nations. Every edition covers a specific theme and comprises technical articles from our research team as well as contributors from around the world.
The journal supports GSC’s vision to center the many ways in which countries in the Global South are developing context-specific solutions that the rest of the world can learn from just as much as contribute towards.
